The Grand Crus & Specialities
The meaning of the French word "Cru," in modern oenological terminology, refers to the wine produced from a single vineyard plot, chosen by the winery for the particular vocation demonstrated by that micro-terroir, with reference to the grape variety grown there.
A Grand Cru represents the highest and best quality level among all the winery's Crus. The Specialties, on the other hand, are wines with distinctive features that make them unique and, for this reason, are highly appreciated by wine critics and enthusiasts.
